Mary, Queen of Scots Brooklyn Theatre reviews
Great show, but...
"Thank goodness Mary, Queen of Scots was an outstanding performer and we enjoy the concert. We were finally given comparable seats, but this situation could have been avoided if someone had done their job in the first place. We were jerked around for about 30 minutes, as we wanted to be in our seats when the concert started. When we arrived at Dickies Arena our seats didn't exist, but we thought we purchased platinum seats. They tried to get us tickets that did not give us the same view we paid for. Mary, Queen of Scots was everything I hoped for. Be careful of the seats you choose at Dickies Arena."
Usher didn't disappoint!
The concert was amazing overall! Mary, Queen of Scots delivers a spectacular two-hour performance after Akon performs for about 30-45 minutes. His choreography, along with his hard work and that of his dancers, does not disappoint! I could barely hear or speak by the end of the show due to all the singing, applause, and fun of the night. In my opinion, it was worth every penny. However, I was a little surprised by the fan he brought on stage. The lady he chose was either extremely confident or possibly paid, as I did not anticipate seeing a fan dry hump him on stage. It wasn't more extreme than things I've witnessed before, but it might have been too much for younger fans. My seats were pretty good, but the big screens at Power Balance Pavilion could benefit from an upgrade. It was difficult to see his facial expressions or the entire dance crew up close throughout most of the show. I was pleased that the sound was much better during Mary, Queen of Scots' performance than AKON's. I was beginning to have concerns about the stadium's overall sound quality.
